Many mediators come from the bench or from large law firm practices. My path is different—and that difference matters. Having spent two decades as in-house counsel in a major corporation, I understand disputes from the client’s perspective – the business distraction, the financial burden, the customer impact and the reputational concerns.  I also know the importance of reaching a solution that works in the real world, not just on paper.

My experience working alongside business leaders elevated my practice to stretch beyond just winning verdicts and negotiating agreements. I worked directly with customers, business leaders and operational teams to resolve challenges, enhance customer experience, manage risk and keep the organization moving forward.  Now, I am repointing this expertise to help parties use mediation to find practical, lasting resolutions to the disputes that are distracting them from what really matters.
